Our AI assistant, Zoye, processes your business data to provide intelligent features. This includes:
- Analyzing task patterns to suggest prioritization and automation opportunities
- Processing communication history to draft emails and suggest follow-ups
- Reviewing deal data to provide win probability scoring and negotiation insights
- Examining financial data to forecast cash flow and identify trends
Your data is used solely to provide services to you and is never sold to third parties or used to train general-purpose AI models.
4. Google User Data and Limited Use Disclosure
Zoye integrates with Google services so you can manage your work without leaving the platform. When you connect your Google Account, we access only the data required to deliver the features you have authorized. This section describes what we access, what we use it for, and the strict limits we place on that use.
4.1 Google Scopes We Request
We request the minimum scopes needed to provide each feature. The scopes you grant depend on which integrations you connect:
- Google Profile (name, email, profile picture): used to identify your Zoye account and personalize your workspace.
- Gmail: read incoming messages so Zoye can surface follow-ups, summarize threads, and draft replies; send emails on your behalf only when you explicitly ask Zoye to do so.
- Google Calendar: display your schedule inside Zoye, create or update events you ask Zoye to schedule, and link meetings to deals, contacts, and tasks.
- Google Drive: attach files to records inside your workspace, save Zoye-generated documents back to your Drive, and reference files you explicitly link.
4.2 Limited Use Disclosure
Zoye's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4.3 What We Do Not Do With Google User Data
- We do not sell Google user data to anyone, under any circumstances.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising or to serve any kind of ads.
- We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train general-purpose AI or machine-learning models.
- We do not allow humans to read your Google user data, except: (a) with your explicit consent, (b) where strictly necessary for security investigations, abuse prevention, or to comply with applicable law, or (c) where the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
- We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as needed to provide or improve user-facing features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets where this Privacy Policy continues to govern.
4.4 Use With Third-Party AI Providers
To power Zoye's AI features, we may transmit relevant Google user data to third-party AI providers (such as large language model APIs) only at the moment a feature you triggered requires it. These providers are bound by contractual terms that prohibit them from retaining your Google user data beyond what is necessary to return a response, and from using your Google user data to train their models.
4.5 Revoking Access and Deleting Google Data
You can disconnect any Google integration at any time from your Zoye workspace settings. You can also revoke Zoye's access directly from your Google Account permissions page. Once disconnected, Zoye stops accessing new Google data immediately. To request deletion of Google data we have already stored, contact us at hello@zoye.io and we will action your request promptly.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: Third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf (hosting, payment processing, analytics)
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or other legal process
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
- With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share information

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- End-to-end encryption for data in transit using TLS 1.3
- AES-256 encryption for data at rest
- Regular security audits and penetration testing
- Access controls and authentication requirements for our team

7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account deletion, we may retain certain information for up to 90 days for backup purposes and as required by law. Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement.
